Saw a 1978 Cortina MK4 estate yesterday- its a gold 2.0 gl with a vinyl roof and we often see it in and around Woking - seems to be in regular use and looks very tidy.

Some good tips especially to check it in the dark - found faults this way myself before now.

When did it last have a set of plugs in it - could well be a plug breaking down under load or a ceramic insulator cracked?
