Hi all, The Retrowarwick show/meet is back again for 2012 and will be on Sunday 12TH August. Still plenty of room for little ones in the back. :lol: :lol: My father sold his first MGB GT V8 when I outgrew it (I didn't mind being shoe horned in it). You could do a lot worse than a GT; my mother and father now get about in a low mileage '78 example. You'll not find a better car for spares. B...

its an early 67, built february so mk1. yes, no rear seat belts at the moment but i have spare mini rear sealtbelts in the garage plus some period britax 3 point harness's so options for fitting rear belts. still plenty of room for little ones in the back.

well, bought an MGB in the end. it came across my path, the right conditron at the right price - right colour and trim and was restored in the early 90's

decided to source a Triumph 2000 - virtually the same size as my saab surprisingly , has nice 6cyl engines, local parts suppliers to me and great interiors.

reintroducing the rolling cut off will mean a complete redefining of the what the govt sees as "historic" in the UK. at the moment its means unlimited use and free road tax for pre 73 cars. what will probably happen, as others have stated is that any old-ish car could be defined as historic, but mil...

if any chnage oocurs, it will mostly likely try to bring the UK in line with other EU countries, eg France. I don't favour that! why? we have mot every 2 years, no road tax, & cheaper car insurance...empty roads wines not bad either errmm..... in france you have to pre-register your historic vehicl...
