I picked up this very sorry looking for itself GTX.Original plan was to save it,but it is rotton as a pear. :( The plastics had trapped the rot and the sills,floor,bumper mounts have disintegrated and after it failed it's mot spectacularly,it was used around a farm.... http://i559.photobucket.com/al...

It's One of our consultants cars. 85K or nearly 250 x what I paid for the 5 :)

Oh I don't know.Looking at Practical classics latest resto,some of these look positively sound.
As for the Dub vans on that site,I can see it now on E bay."Needs slight work,but outstanding original patina.Bargain at 10K ono" :D

I had one back in the 90's.great little cars,but v fragile.
As for fast,you would be pretty disappointed.Being a metro,they do seem it compared to others in the range,but 10 seconds to 60,doesn't set the world on fire ;)

Big difference in those rims!
Why the V6? I know they're a bit thin on the ground now, but you can't beat the sound of a Rover 8 ;)
