Triumph Acclaim 30th anniversary
The Triumph Acclaim was oficially launced on the 7th of October 1981. To mark the 30th anniversay a few of us Acclaim owners would like to get as many Acclaims as possible together opposite the gates at Cowley (the old Morris factory).
Neil, if you're reading this would it be possible to give this event some coverage in the October edition of the mag?

Well there are some words I never anticipated seeing in the same phrase.
Good for them though, the Acclaim seems to be enjoying quite a bit of interest at the moment which bodes well for surviving cars, of which more seem to appear on eBay by the day.

Haha I asked some of the local members what they'd say if I brought an Acclaim along - the replies were "Can you park with the moderns?" "who brought a Honda?" and "ARGH IT'S HIDEOUS!"JPB wrote:Aar0sc wrote:TSSC.... Acclaims... celebrate...

I did see TWO at one of the TSSC runs; so they can't be that unpopular - apparently they're a good starter Triumph...

Like it or not, it was the last car to carry the Triumph badge. Don't know when I last saw one.

Much less subjectively; it is a light, pleasant to drive FWD car that has comfy front seats and a radio.
