Richard Hammond?

Just watching the latest top gear and he is thoroughly winding me up. Could he be any more pointless??

This week, I was quite astounded during the Sweeney segment to find myself sympathising with Jezza over Hammond's stupidity... And during May's segment with the Panda & Corsa, I thought he did a great job of expounding on why small cheap cars can be massive fun.

And WTF is up with Hammond's hair?!

Acting like a pillock seems to be good for the finances. Hammond may be short in stature but like the other two muppets I bet he's not short of money. The problem with Top Gear is that people perhaps watch it expecting it to be about cars (Maybe it is in a very schoolboy sort of way), whereas it's really (At least when I last saw it) the Clarkson gratification show, where an audience, who are pretending to be teenagers, are expected to laugh at his "Jokes" and pranks.

As to anyone being more or as annoying.........Simon Cowell :?:

Jimmy Carr.

There's just something about that poute he makes that makes me want to whack him right in the face with a round nosed shovel.

Right now, I am sitting here getting off on the very satisfying noise that it would make upon contact. A sort of melding together of BONG! CRACKLE and SQUELCH! Then, if I get it just right, with not quite enough force to make him unconsious, I could look forward to the howling. Well, both howlings - mine with laughter.

As an ex-Navvy, I'm quite a dab hand with a round nose.

I feel much better having got that off my chest.......

You are all wrong. Ignoring "celebrities" the most irritating person on TV is Harry Hill. For a comedian he is as funny as a car accident, he is so stupid he makes Hammond's TV persona look like Stephen Fry! A face you would never tire of punching but he would have to be gagged so i didn't have to hear his stupid voice saying "ouch"[/rant]

Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

My bad, I had assumed that your repetition was intended as an ironic stab at Hammond's habit of repeating himself, rather than simply saying "his over expression", since we all express ourselves with words. ;)

Saying that, I'm sure that his eyebrows are a life form in themselves. Weird things that they are. :D

Thinking about it, he doesn't half repeat himself. Sometimes I can smell it from here, and I live 300+ miles away from Top Gear.

Some solid arguments there for alternative irritants all of which I whole heartedly agree with. No list would be complete however without the inclusion of jedward. Not only are they 100% annoying and 0% talented they have become wealthy on the back of it? Given this countries apparent obsession with "reality" TV perhaps there could be a new show where these idiots are eliminated one by one based on public vote?

Now there is a show I would watch!

Going to need a few more contestants though so we'll invite Mr Milliband too.
