The funniest bit is at the end when it is apprased and they have missed flaking paint on the doors and when asked "is that bumper origional" the reply was "well it was on the car when we got it"
It's just a new series of bangla bangers but with (slightly) less filler.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

I wonder what the original owner thought when he watched the programme.

I'd be interested to know what paint they were using too - I'd have thought HSE would have a field day if they used 2PAK while wearing a paper mask!

The whole programme is a load of old b******s! It would appear Bernie had a go at sorting it BEFORE the cameras arrived to film him arriving and buying it.

This is a photo off the original for sale advert, and I'm not offering any prizes to those who spot the difference!

Including changing the number-plate....

I constantly have to remind myself that it's all about making TV that will sell, and nothing about keeping it honest or real in any way whatsoever. Which from our point of view makes it totally pointless.

I'm getting the impression that most on here aswell as I,found it pathetic,22 grand for a cut and shut ;) I won't be in a hurry to watch the next episode, complete drivel.
A great write up in Classic Car Buyer,it really slagged off the show, and rightly so.

Here is a thought
The PC mag should track one of these vehicles down and do a feature on it.
Exposing all the facts on what these so called car restorers are doing to
such vehicles. Making the article as unbiased and as detailed as possible.

Showing what the parts should look like and the actual costs and exposing
any problems that could be caused by them down the line.
