Yeh, that is nice. Well saved. I had one as 'car 2' some years back. It was the only car I've had that I made a profit on & that was 2&1/2 years down the line when it failed it's MOT due to rust! VTR 934 T, known as 'Victor'

As hard as it may seem, I reckon the club would be a good source of parts & help. If you came to sell.......... then it's gotta be the way to go. Have you looked at the forum? Is it a free one or do you have to join the club?

Good luck :D

Porsche Club GB
Mercedes Club GB
Goodwood Road Race Club
Brooklands Trust
912register
356 register
912bbs register
VW clubs
Kite clubs

My Club membership per year is getting abit out of hand I don't really want to start buying more memberships..to be honest.

I have read the web site you can't even join in on the forum to get to understand what it's like and if you would like to join..

I never understand why forums do that.. what's the point it just puts people off.. I have seen this before where it's ALWAYS a commitee that say " No "you have to join " and they are normaly older members who think the internet is like clubs of old.. What they don't understand is as fast as they say " No " some one else sets up a club for free or just give what you think via paypal and it's then that club that grows and then out grows the orginal club.. Seen it happen so many times. In general clubs don't get the internet. Esp Clubs with Committee members all trying to gain their bit of fame and space/power  what ever you call it.. I have seen it happen too many times and it's old guard that hinders the clubs growth because they don't want to lissen to the younger members who might know a thing or two MORE about the internet and it's power...

A new allegro owners club has started in the last month and it's already getting 1-2 members new per DAY!

so if say an old owner from the 70's see;'s the web site and the forum he then thinks I will ask if any one has my car.. they can't! cos they have to join and pay so they just don't. A free forum for guest ( does not have to be all of the forums sections open to them ) can at least come on and say I had one any one seen it.. or I have alot of spare parts do you want them , I have books on the car I have had for years I don't want to bin them please come and get them..

Search the archive on here.

Some one recently set up a stand alone free forum for Allegro owners due to the national clubs restrictive rules.

I'm sure they listed it on here.

Mean while if you pm me year and model and parts details I have a friend in Yorkshire who may well have the parts you need.

Its a long shot, but worth a try as he has been in the trade for over 40 years.

Is that your garage door behind the Allegro and the blue Mini :?: If so, it's a whopper :!: :!:

I've just realised that back in the days when I was looking for a second car, I really wanted a Mini Clubman Estate. They weren't plentiful, so I ended up with an applejack (Slime) green Mini 1000, that had 25000 on the clock. An Allegro estate never crossed my mind and I'm sure it would have come in handy. Now ofcourse I have the Minor Traveller, which has all the benefits of a good spares network.

Looks as though it comes from a 2-door saloon - even rarer than a 4-door now?
