Not a lot. Another pastiche of an old and beautiful design.
As I understand it this was a one-off for somebody with a lot of money who wanted one that looked like the original? Based on a normal XK8/XKR I believe. Not how I'd spend that kind of money!

Some people are like Slinkies - they serve no useful purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs.

Hmm....
It reminds me of something other than an E-Type, but I'm gobbled if I can remember what.
Ah yes:
Like that Porsche Panamericana from the rump, but not as ugly. Or better-looking?

Jaguar could never build this in a million years, as it makes every Ason look like a simca in comparisonJPB wrote:Hmm....

Re: Artists impression of a new e-type
I think it all is guaranteed to evoke extremes of opinion, but heck; I like it. It would be a pleasure to see this on the road. I think the original E-type is not as attractive as I'm told it is. Maybe the way the wheels sit too far in from the widest point of the body. But as always it's a matter of taste.
This is a 're-imagining' maybe? CGI only? I don't get the impression it has been even mocked up in physical form yet?
